West Coast College is located in Southern California – more specifically, Victorville, California. West Coast College (WCC) is dedicated to providing students with quality job preparation that is delivered in a context of practical and pragmatic training. The training at West Coast College prepares graduates for entry-level employment in occupations related to the allied health industry.

West Coast College's mission and objectives include the following:
- Train students, age 18 and older, to become professionals who can benefit from the training that is offered.
- Provide curriculum that meets the changing needs of businesses providing allied health services.
- Assist students to develop positive and professional attitudes about themselves that will help them secure a job and successfully work in the allied health field.
- Successfully place students in growth positions that require the skills taught in our training programs.
- Provide faculty who possess demonstrated experience and expertise in their respective specialties, both professionally and academically.
- Constantly re-evaluate comprehensive curricula resulting in an "industry current" learning experience.
- Offer an alternative to long-term education programs for those that do not have the time or the funds to advance themselves and improve their quality of life.
Approval Disclosure Statement
West Coast College was granted institutional approval from the Bureau
for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education pursuant to California
Educational Code Section 94311. The Bureau’s approval means that the
institution and its operation comply with the minimum standards
established under the law for occupational instruction by private
postsecondary educational institutions. This approval does not imply any
enrollment or recommendation by the state or by the Bureau. Institutional
approval must be re-approved every three years and is subject to
continuing review.
In addition to the Bureau approval, West Coast College is also approved by
the following agencies:
- Workforce Investment Boards in San Bernardino County, City of San
Bernardino
- Veterans Approval – Approved for training of veterans and eligible
persons under the provisions of Title 38, United States Code (see VA
Addendum and VA Inserts)
- National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork
- National Allied Health Test Registry
Instruction is in residence with facility occupancy level accommodating
90 full-time students at any one time.
California statue requires that a student who successfully completes a
course of study be awarded an appropriate degree or diploma verifying the
fact.

Sharon Liberto
Dental Assistant Instructor
Graduated from Western College in 1975 and has been working in the Dental
industry ever since. She has 25 years experience working in and certified
for Oral Surgery, Periodontics and General Dentistry. She currently holds
licenses as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), Dental X-Ray, Phlebotomy,
Coronal Polishing, and Ultrasonic Scaling. Approved to teach by the Bureau
for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education.
Franshella Hopkins-Jernigan
Medical Assistant Instructor/Director of Education
Graduated and received her Medical Assistant certificate from Nova/Bryman
College in 2001. She has extensive work experience that includes
front/back office, physical therapy and medical billing through her
employment at a community hospital, urgent care and family practice
facilities. Approved to teach by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and
Vocational Education.
Mignon M. Sims
Medical Assistant Instructor
Graduated and received her Medical Assistant diploma from Bryman College
in 1993. She has fourteen years of front and back office experience in
family practice, women’s health, OB/GYN, multi-specialties, and urgent
care. Approved to teach by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and
Vocational Education.
Bertha De la Rosa
Massage Therapist Instructor
Graduated and received her certificates and diploma from Nova/Bryman
College in 1999. Upon graduation she worked in Chiropractic &
Orthopedic/Medical offices as the lead Massage Therapist and eventually
Office Manager. She began teaching Massage Therapy at Bryman College in
2001 through 2003. Bertha also has been continuing her education in
medical school enhancing her knowledge in massage & physical therapy.

Education.
Tamika J. Harris
Massage Therapist Instructor
An honors graduate of Georgia Career Institute, obtained over 900 hours of
training. Before graduation she was embraced by a local athletic
corporation, where she volunteered as a Sports Massage Therapist, leading
to full time employment, then Co-Founder of a sub-division. Along with
years of finance, business and a salon management background, she
continues to thrive as an Assisted Thai Yoga Technician while maintaining
active membership as an AMTA Professional. Approved to teach by the Bureau
for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education.
Jo Ellen Chappell
Med/Den Billing & Coding/Front Office Instructor
Graduate of Milwaukee Area Tech College, Jo Ellen has worked in the
Medical field since 1970. She has been an instructor for Medical Assisting
and Medical Billing as well as Front Office with other vocational schools.
Approved to teach by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational
Education.
Heidi Myers
Medical Assistant & Billing & Coding Instructor
Graduated from Associated Technical College in Los Angeles in 1983.
Currently has her CMA, Phlebotomy and EKG certificates. Has past
experience in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Urgent Care &
Rheumatology to name a few. Taught at Bryman College for 2 years and
currently teaches CPR, First AID, AED and C-Pro for the Red Cross. Pending
teaching approval by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocation
Education.

Location and Facilities
West Coast College’s main campus is located at
14725 7th Street, Suites 1000 & 1100, Victorville, California 92395.
The Ontario branch is located at
520 N. Euclid Ave., Ontario, CA 91762.
Both campuses are within easy access of Interstate 15, the region’s main
freeway. Classrooms are heated and air-conditioned and each is large
enough to accommodate up to 25 students, although class sizes are
generally smaller. Each classroom is equipped with supportive
instructional and learning materials to enrich students’ knowledge and
training. Facilities are spacious, clean, and simulate the professional
environment in which students will eventually work in the real world. The
facilities and equipment utilized by the college fully comply with
federal, state, and local ordinances and regulations, including those
requirements pertaining to fire safety, building safety, and health.
